We are pleased to release Shōgun 1.15, bringing new features and fixes. Plus a major milestone - markerless licenses are now commercially available!

Shōgun releases now include two software packages; 

1. If you have a Vicon Markerless licence download both packages. 
2. If you don’t yet have a Vicon Markerless licence, simply download the Shōgun Live and Post package, as you did before.

Other software updates

In addition to Shōgun 1.15, we have released new versions of our Vicon Video Viewer and Firmware Manager. These are included with both Shōgun packages and can also be downloaded separately from our website via the links below:

What's new in Shōgun 1.15?

Features and improvements

FLIR drivers included

FLIR drivers are now included in the Shōgun Live installer making it easier to upgrade when using FLIR cameras as part of your system.

Get range from painted keys 

Time range selection now occurs as keys are painted in Shōgun Post.

Change paint selected brush size 

Shōgun Post users can now increase or decrease the size of the Paint Selected Brush using hot keys.

Markerless features and improvements

With this release, Markerless customers can download Shōgun Markerless for real-time streaming without suits and markers, and Shōgun Post for data control and integration into your existing workflows and pipelines.

HD reprocessing of markerless data

Reprocess your markerless performance in Shōgun Post, using the HD footage captured by Vicon’s Vanguard cameras, for improved data quality and the removal of dropped frames at 120fps.

Single-click markerless cleanup 

Instantly improve markerless data with this single-click solution for enhanced quality while maintaining the physicality of the original performance.

More addressed issues 

We have addressed 14 known issues that have been reported by our community with this release. This includes several crash issues that have impacted the stability of our software. Please review the release notes for details.
